Dear Cast, Turn the pages, read the script, look at the pic- tures, and see the scenes from your high school. The Executive Director, lVlr. Nolfi, has tried to fit each and everyone for his part. The teachers are the Directors. They have attempted to make you up to fit the needs of your life. How well they have succeeded will be shown in the years to come. Let the pictures and printed script of this book bring back to mind all the rehearsals and scenes and parts you have played in Memorial High School. Telling jokes is one of Jonny Diamandis's favorite pastimes. Seniors take a break from diligent study as they prove that school isn't always all work and no play. Whether clowning around in the halls or participating in various activ- ities, these few scenes depict the wonderful experiences we all shared and will remember forever. In English class Greg Nlihalopoulas excavates an unknown civilization. f' f , .1 -V I 1 -Z ' nr- At the Senior Class Bingo and Card Party Nlatt Carlozzi and Rita Felde enjoy themselves. 9 ., iv! Only he knows. l Y 'f H Knowing that art class can wait, Lance Jones sleeps quietly. I B- Friday assemblies prove to be enjoyable for Mike Duda, Roberta Kish and Kathy Konopka. 10 After working hard all week in school, Gloria Hanuscak, Cathy Lemmo and Tony Rivalsky gather at the Friday night dances and talk shop. 1-n+'l' :' 4:22-43 Q NN l l 1 l 1 l l An artist usually paints on paper, but Bob Spencer decorates the table. The mad camera man struck again in these senior student life pictures. While they weren't looking, click the camera shutter sounded and the look on their faces was one of surprise. The Reveler photographer was on guard, always looking for different expressions and actions. l I l l R A il I Y, Louie Diaz puckers his lips waiting for his dream girl. Gee, isn't it a wonder how students are so prompt arriving at McDonald's after Friday night games? 11 AND NOW, A WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR. It was Home- coming. Excitement and joy filled the air with laughter and smiles on all. The traditional parade was especially lovely this year as the court rode on a beautiful float decorated by the junior class. The Juniors worked long and hard this year and their ef- forts were not in vain. After the game a dance was held in the cafeteria. Music was by Sunshine. Soon the evening was over and the time and place became a memory. But, it was a cher- ished memory of that beautiful day and all the people who made the dream come true. 83 SPAGHETTI B0 L These special guests stopped eating to take a. picture. Taking a rest before the dance are Tony Stiles, Emanuel Ginnis and John Spencer. On February 3rd, the class of 77 gathered in the high school cafeteria to attend the Annual Senior Spaghetti Dinner and Dance. As the crowd arrived, they cast their votes for king and queen. Soon the cafeteria was filled with the chit chat and laughter of the unusually well- dressed students. Although the weather was bitter cold outside, when the stu- dents entered the school they were transposed to sunny Italy. Red checkered tablecloths and flickering candles provided the table decor as the seniors were serenaded with Italian music. 84 t -tei r .-t on 4 v 4 QL. 13 -ah., 4 ' lo.-q - ,wlf 'Nw rr -., ' 'wut F' X Gifts are presented to the three celebrities by John Murar. The king and queen for the evening were Louie Diaz and Donna lVlan- giarelli . Hedrick Congratulations to the Class of 1977. You ' i ' have reached an important step in your lifetime. When your parents or older friends tell you it is , not the end, but a beginning, believe them for it is true. Growing up and attending school is a beautiful part of your life. It is also a difficult time because you are learning and you do not al- ways have the knowledge or experience to help you make the right decisions. Consequently, you W have to depend upon others to help guide you along. In most instances this has been your par- ents. You may not always have agreed with their advice, but if you look back as you get older you will understand that they were looking out for your best interests. Certainly, at this important time of your life, you should take the time to thank your parents. Your growing years have been difficult for them also. Remember also that your turn will come to walk in their shoes. Whatever the future holds for you I want you to know that it has been my privilege to have been associated with you. Respectfully yours, QM! kiwi Superintendent of Schools il llm 'f I Board Of Education--Michael Vaschak, John Gerlick, Pres. Give thy thoughts no tongue, Nor any unproportion'd thought his act. Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar, The friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, Grapple them to thy soul with hoops of steely But do not dull thy palm with entertainment - Of each new-hatch'd, unfledg'd comrade. Beware of entrance to a quarrel, but, being in, Bear't that th' opposed may beware of thee. Give every man thine ear, but few thy voiceg Take each manls censure, but reserve thy judgement. Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy, But not express'd in fancyg rich, not gaudyg For the apparel oft proclaims the man, And they in France of the best rank and station Are most select and generous, chief in that. Neither a borrower, nor a lender beg For loan oft loses both itself and friend, And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry. This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. by William Shakespeare JOHN R.
