To get our trip started we stopped at JAKE PARISH'S because he was furnishing our means of transportation, the Old Tin Lizzy of N.A. Conti. Next we went to FRANK ROTH'S Service Station to fill her up and from there proceeded to the City Hall for our official send off. There we found the Mayor, TONY PACELLA, his secretar , BETTY ANN WASH, Capt. JOHN TOVARNAK, Chief of Police: JOE WASHINGTON, our local disc jockey, and MISS PRISCILLA WILLIAMS, a photographer for the Campbell Journal. Our first official stop was in the fair city of Youngstown. While we were there we decided to go to the Ma- honing Country Club to bid our class sponsor MISS SANDUSKY and golf caddy JOSEPHINE CARLOZZI fare- well. We needed a few things for our trip so we stopped at McKelveys where we came upon ELOIS CARWELL and EUNICE MURRAY, our former classmates, who are now models. From there we went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe DeTuno fthe former ROSALIE RAMUNNO I to congratulate the newly weds. The next day we arrived in Cleveland and thought we would pay a visit to PATRICIA CENTOFANTI, who is now the Director of Nursing Education in one of their hospitals. Since we had never seen a baseball game we decided to attend one. It was the third inning on the Indian-Yankee game when all of a sudden we heard Ice Cold Pop, I0c. Much to our surprise we found it to be MARY JANE BALASSONE. After the game, looking for excitement, we decided to head for New York City. ' W I Our first stop in New York was the Empire State Building, where MIKE KISH has his offices for his Baby Sitting Organization. You know he has advanced so because all of the children love his cute pug nose. ln the same building we saw JEAN PARISH who is now a nationwide disc iockey for one of the television stations. From there we went to Madison Square Garden to see PEGGY SIKORA and BARBARA SWITKA wrestle for the first time. During our stay in New York we ran into ANDY KOVAL many times, for you know Andy has the title of the nation's No. I Free Loader. Leaving from La Guardia Airport, we saw BOB BEDNAR, who is in the bus- iness of training stewardesses. Now we were on our way to Europe and flying by our Model Tin Can. Much to our surprise, the first person we saw when we reached England was JOHN SCHUSTER. He informed us that he is a male ballet dancer ap- pearing in the Sadler Wells Ballet. Next we went to Paris, France, to see the portrait of CAPTAIN ZERO by KENNETH HODGE. Afterwards we stopped to' see the Follies Bergere and in the chorus saw the legs of FIFI KNAPICK, POODLES MUZELL, and SHERRIE NARDELLA. Later we stopped for dinner at NICK OPENCAR'S Moulin Rouge and ate the food of the head chef MICHAELANGLO SINIBALDI. Our next stop was Poland. While we were there we visited HELENA MADURA, the U.S. Ambassador to Po- land and MARIA GRACHINAN, her press secretary. . That night we found ourselves in Hungary at the exclusive restaurant of MAGDA ELIOFF and ZSA ZSA AUGUSTON, where they serve real goaloshes in their Beef Goulash. The next morning we motored to Ukraine and found JAN WITYSHYN still fighting for Ukrainian democracy. After this visit we went on to Russia, there we bought a copy of the Efficiency Newspaper, published by OLGA KACENGA. NINA CARANO, BORIS GARY, and IGOR KLIMKO. While we were here we thought we'd visit Lower Slobbovia. There we visited the famous library run by head librarian HANNA STONEWORK and her assistant book binder NINA BECK. From here we proceeded on to Greece and found ULYSSES DROSOS the famous sculptor and GORGIE KAP- SULIS owner of the Collander Restaurant. After a lamb dinner we continued on to the Pizza kingdom of the world, Italy. Here we sampled some vino made in the wineries of GUSPIE KONYA, PASQUALE SPEIS, RALPHAEL VALERIO, and ALBERTO YANNO. After visiting MARY GRACE TUROCY in her kingdom of Ponoco, we speeded to India. Here we learned that RANEE OSHELSKI owned a fig packing plant and SAUD TORDAY was her number one fig picker. Next we visited Africa. Here we received an anonymous invitation from a Sultan. When we arrived at his palace and were announced, there to our utter amazement was SAUD STRUHARIK, surrounded by a harem of beau- tiful irls, one of which was ZANZIBAR NOCERA. The heat of Africa was too much for us so we thought we would like time mild warmth of Hawaii. While we were there we were entertained by the BOB BARRON Hula Dancers, ALOHI UHRIN and HALI LOKY TURACEK. After all this sunshine we decided to go to the cooler part of the world and ended up in Alaska where we found MARY PERKINGS building igloos. ' Now we are back in the good old United States, and thought we'd stop and see BUZZY GUBANY and DAN KUNSELMAN who are famous forest rangers. lContinued on page 36, 34 .,-'K W Wijxafi 41 O I M Q.. Then we went to San Francisco and visited RICHARD HAYNESWORTH, very rich bachelor and BERTHA KELLEY who is a spin- ster living near by. Then we saw JUDY HAGERMAN in a department store window testing mattresses. Because we knew EDWIN GROHOVSKY, the famed hair stylist and makeup artist, we got a pass to go into the movie studios and saw NICK MANACK, JOE NOVACHICH, DENNIS GABLE, JOE VARESCHAK, and WALTER WALKER rehearsing for the latest movie of the little rascles. We sat in on the rehearsal of MARILYN WAWRAK'S first movie and then we went on to see director STEVE BURY direct KIM LESNANSKY in a new musical with music by EDWARD BAYUS. To change the pace we stopped in on a western and saw WYATT KROTKY being persued by HOPALONG SCHWARTZ all over the set. Because we wanted some excitement we drove on to Las Vagas. We went into the Wagonwheel and saw POOPSY BILLIK and CUDDLES GODOSCIK doing a bubble dance. After the show, as we were leaving, we sawkPrjacher JAMES TESTA come in. He is a hard worker when it comes to reforming the poor souls of this wic e city. While we were in this part of the country we thought we would stozp in on the famous Salt Lake City. There we came upon two mormons. None other than PHIL CAMBOURIS an ALEX GARNET. You know of course that mormons can have more than one wife. Next we went all the way to Florida. Knowing we'd surely see someone we knew in the circus, we stopped at Sarasota. There we found EMMA GREER, lion tamerp DOROTHY KELLEY, a sword swallowerp and VERA GREENE, trapeze artist. Then we went on to Miami and met businesswoman BETTY HOZA at the beach resort of ESTELLE ZETTS. After this delightful visit we went on to West Virginia to see GEORGE CEBULA and MATT BOZICHOVICH. They are the speed kings in the chicken plucking empire. We then proceeded on to Wisconsin to see our friends CAROLINE GORBY and CAROL ANN HAMROCK punching holes in Swiss cheese. Because we wanted to see the nite lights of Chicago we sto ped in on one of the nite spots. There, to our amazement, we saw the dancing team of KISH and KADILAK Ling their version of the Hokey Pokey. Boy, we are almost at the close of our trip. Just a few more stops and then home. But we must not forget to stophin Pittsburgh to see MARY ANN MACEK and LOLLY SIMBOLI at the Heinz plant. They are pickle tasters att e ant. Noev over the turnpike to Poland, Ohio, to see MR. 8- MRS. JOHN IVAN fthe former MAURENE KOHUTI. John is a wealthy contractor. Then we proceeded on to Struthers to see MARY ANN DUTKO, who is the princi- pol of Struthers High, our old rival. As we were crossing the river we said hello to RICHARD GULU, Street Commissioner. Here we are, approaching home, at last. Maybe, we could have gone on forever, but the old model tin can iust couldn't cross another ocean or climb another mountain so we decided to rest for the next five years before taking another trip. Well, until June 6, 1967, May God Bless and Keep You and Yours. 36 Cl XSS FAREWE LL SON G QGREENSLEEVESJ I walk today from Memorial High, And my heart is young, but alone am I I came to school with this thought in mind, that The years ahead would not be so kind The teachers and the friends I mode All helped dispel the fears I laid.
