Five Campbell enthusiasts serve as consultants for the re- viewing and forming of basic policies. The works of the foremost authors and poets are read and discussed, and in addi- tion. periodical book reports are required. Applying what they have learned, English scholars become potential essayists, poets, and short story writers. Perhaps the most prodigious assignment to be met in the junior year is the term paper. And then ar- rives the peak of one's Campbell English career, a subjective presentation of any his- torical topic, the notorious U. S. History term paper. In its completion lies the final step at Campbell, Graduation. The knowledge of English grammar is a big necessity ac- cording to Mr. Tarr.
