IN MEMORIAM MR. SAMUEL P. REED His smile, the twinkle in his eye and his warm responses are the features and characteristics we will always remember about our former friend and prin- cipal, Mr. Samuel P. Reed, whose untimely death took him from us on May l4, l958. Mr. Reed returned to Campbell High, his Alma Mater, in l955 to serve as principal. He was priv- ileged to enjoy the work in this capacity for only three short years. It is difficult to understand that a man like Mr. Reed had to suffer so much and be taken' away from those who loved and respected him. He left the Campbell High Bucs a gift, and that treasure is the admiration of teenagers and a grow- ing concern for their education. I0
