P Scxkumoto T Takatcx SENICRS If any tag name can be pinned to this graduating Senior Class oi l95l that name would surely be The High Pressure Boys. lt was said oi them during their junior year that they out sold, according to groups, more than any other high school in California during their magazine drive. There was little chance of outstripping these seniors during the tall paper drive. They Won hands down. If they were super salesmen they were no less doers. ln their freshman year they organized and held a whooping class party. The next year as sopho- mores, the class rigged up another loig party around a circus theme. Bucs Cove will not soon forget that night. Party themes were wide and varied: there was the Evening in Paris theme for the lunior Prom. All Campbell will recall the success of that get-together. Never stuck for a theme loaded with possibilities, Mardi Gras was built into the Senior Ball. These seniors were not a group to scott at tradition. The day they hopped the school busses and took oit for Santa Cruz was the day of their Sneak Day and they proved that tradition could be kept more than alive. Who else but these seniors could mix comedy, tragedy and murder into a Senior Play? The result was of course Arsenic and Old Lace. Rehearsals were kept in dark secret but the results were flung tar and wide. And so as l95l seniors, we bid good-bye to our good old Alma Mater.
