How- ever, The war has Taken iTs Tall oT sTudenTs and Teachers. The ranks oT The seniors have been de- pleTed especially, buT sTudenTs Trom oTher classes Too have leTT To ioin The service, work in war indus- Tries, or help in The Food Tor VicTory program. The sTudenTs remaining in school have redirecTed Their educaTional programs in order To be prepared Tor Their place in The war eTTorT. More emphasis has been placed on TundamenTal subiecTs.
