THROUGHOUT THE 200 YEARS OF OUR AMERICAN HISTORY, WE HAVE SEEN MANY CHANGES IN OUR COUNTRY. WE HAVE SEEN CHANGES IN GOVERNMENT. TRANSPORTATION, AND LIFE STYLES. HOWEVER, THE THINGS THAT SEEM TO REMAIN THE SAME OVER THE YEARS ARE THE THOUGHTS AND CREATIONS IN THE MINDS OF OUR YOUNG ONES. CHILDREN'S FEELINGS TOWARD THEIR FAMILIES. PETS, AND FRIENDS HAVE REMAINED STRIKINGLY SIMILAR YEAR AFTER YEAR. THE CHILDREN OF 1776 MAY HAVE WRITTEN POEMS ALMOST LIKE THE ONES ON THE FOLLOWING PAGES. MY FAMILY I think that my sister may be a horse Maybe she will be a horse. of course! My oldest brother may be a musician And maybe even a technician.
