THE CORONATION BALL Every year the Val- kyries sponsor the Coro- nation Ball. This is the most fascinating dance of the year. Melissa Wharton was the lucky one to be chosen by the eighth and ninth graders to be the Snow Queen for this year. Crowned by last year ' s beloved and beautiful queen, Patricia Clarke, Melissa was exquisite, robed in crimson velvet trimmed with ermine and proudly wearing the lovely jeweled crown. The decorations for this dance were extreme- ly beautiful. We icish to thank Mr. John Senter for making this dance possible and so outstand- ing. Also we are very grateful for Mrs. Senter ' s assistance. Without her it woidd be impossible to have such a wonder- ful dance. Two velvet clad, hand- some, plumed pages, David Eagle and Billy Wilson, carried Melissa ' s train as she left the throne. The six lovely prin- cesses were: Barbara Borror, Lisa Zazvorka, Randy Bruskrud, Merry Grasska, Kate Harper, and Connie Harper. 100 DAVID EAGLE PATRICIA CLARKE, Snow Queen of 1967 BILLY WILSON A QUEEN AND HER FATHER Melissa Wharton Dr. Frank Wliarton AND HER COURT THE QUEEN Left to right DAVID EAGLE, Page GEOFF NILES MERRY GRASSKA RICHARD GASTIL LISA ZAZVORKA GREG REVEL RANDY BRUSKRUD JEFF CAREY MELISSA WHARTON KATE HARPER DINO PATANGO CONNIE HARPER JERRY PERDEW BARBARA BORROR JIM McGARVEY BILLY WILSON, Page
