Not a very good picture but the only one we had of that side-splitting assembly stagedby the sophomores. 'Lord Blears' Barnes seems to be winning this ufall' with Don Fitch and referee Bennie Sinis is asking unnecessary questions. Two of the chief reasons why we have such a cleanbuilding are Mr.I-larry Trapp and Mr. Arthur Reinhardt. Patsy Harris and Donald Weeland enter into the spirit of the Band-Choral Carnival. 4. , , ,3- 1-. 3 1 ff j 5. 'C ix 1' , I Q! ,JS ! For the musicians a clinic is held under fine band conductors. Our students have the opportunity of mingling with people from other schools, of learning marching tactics, of playing worthwhile dance music, and sym- phonic band pieces. Each day is a full one and not all of it is spent under delightful shade trees. In the picture are Donald Weeland playing clarinet, George Coleman playing Tuba and Donald Milburn playing trombone. Those who will represent us in Speech this year are Earl Fischer Donald Vanlandingham, Joann Fitch, Sue Smith, Barbara Seifert, Margaret King, Robert Hopkins, Donald Caldwell, Charles Barnes, Donald Weeland, George Coleman, Edward Boden. 23 JUNIOR GIRLS UNDER MRS FAUGNT's wATcHruLNEss IDELLA BRICKLER, VANDA BRICNLER CORA BROOKS, DOROTHY BROWNING, JACQUELYN CARR, ANNA DISCHAR, JOYCE ECKERLE, JANICE GRAY, JACQUELINE GRUPENNOF, NORNA JEAN HARRIS, MARY LOU Hurr, ROBERTA ILES, BETTY JONES, MARGARET KING, BETTY KOHLS, YVONNE KROGER, PAMELA MAc FER REN, JEANNE MASON, MARY ANN MEYER, EDNA MCARTER, SYLVIA MONTGOMERY, MARGARET POVELEIT, BARBARA RUTH SINGLETON, VIRGIE STEFFEN, DIXIE TRAPP.
