F OREWORD RONDACTS, in its way, is a calendar: not a mere record of weeks and days, but a calendar of memories. lt marks time off into those events and activities which Hlled your summer in 1935. Across its pages are the many memorandums which you yourself inscribed. Here you recorded an experience in friendship, on this page you wrote the memory of a stimulating competition. As for red- letter days-surely never did a calendar contain so many! As we of the Staff were assisting you and Father Time in the preparation of this almanac, We had one earnest Wish: that you would find in our special kind of time-a good time for yourself-that you would see in RONDACTS, 1935, a calendar of happy days. Mondays child loves campiire's light, Its Indian lore and tribal rite- Tuesday's child goes travelling far By bus, by motor boat and car- Wednesday's child likes best to dance, She dreams of Senior Night romance- Thursday's child finds much delight In planning stunts for each bunk night- l3riday's- child on Schroon Lake blue, . Learns to paddle her own canoe- Saturday's child just acts her age ln many plays on Rondack's stage- Sunday's child in swims does 'lmeet And triumph in skillful Water feat.
