Mer- cury rises and we dip in an evening swim. Rons and Dacks divide the spoils-track to Dacks, Senior basketball to Rons. NVe take a hilarious trip to the moon with Claire de la Lune. Seniors come back to earth for Senior formal. Daek Senior swatters bring in the extra run and the game. Ron Volga boatmen pull in victory in novel boating meet. l'll Meet You at the Masquerade, while the Seniors have dates at Cayuga. Varsity VVeek approaches and we practice for perfect formations. Sherwood For- est comes to the Pine Grove in Bunk 4's Robin Hood camplire, and Estelle and Natalie come to Cvag. The Last Round Up of Rondack hikers, as we return from Glens Falls and canoe trip. Our Sketching Club draws the lines Wfe descend Sixteen Fathoms Deepf, Ron freshies tick off a clock golf victory. On with the dance at Senior night. We are tested and found not wanting in last day of Test XVeek. Formation prac- tice. Teams greet Varsity VVeek in stunning formations. We bow to Ron Buddha and are drawn to the Dack Magnet. A Ron-Letter Day in Senior basketball, luter volley ball and Freshie clock golf. The day is heavily contested. Dacks secure Track-meet. To the Ron victors goes the spoil of Freshie eroquet. The day's victories are Even as you and I. Senior baseball a Dack plum. The flrluitfof the Swim-meet to the Rons. Little Red Riding Hood meets the Big, Bad ol . The net results of the tennis contests are Ron victories. Connie and Phyllis double successfully. Estelle's a single triumph. After the Ball is Over, Dack Juniors have taken punchball, Ron Seniors volleyball. Play Gypsies, Dance Gypsies at Bunk 5 campiirc. A miss is as good as her smile, but Dack Senior archers don't miss. Ron Inters Shoot the Wforksn into the basket. Dack luters run home in baseball. At night Rondack's hearts beat with the Hearts of Humanity and jackie Searle. XVhen Sinners Meet -team meetings. Dack volleyball Inter victory. Rons track down meet triumph. There's a Rainbow Round Our Shouldcrsu glorifying the whole campus. Seniors face the music of Senior Night. Ron Inter archers take a bow and the doubles. Ruth Litt strings up a Dack single archery score. The Dack day of glory, with junior punchball, Inter basketball, Freshie Croquet and clock golf. They also serve who bring in Dack Senior tennis doubles. Rons hold on to Senior singles, junior archery and newcombe, and Senior volleyball, yielding only in Inter baseball. Glee Club sings for its supper at evening concert. Three Dack birthdays. and two Dack victories for birthday presents. Happy birthday to Mabel, Nat, and Fuzzy, and Hearty Dack welcome to track and Senior baseball. Senior minstrels bring us humming and strnmmin' in delightful evening performance. Wfe 'Lnote sing practice. Ron Freshies time their clock golf successfully. The most thrilling basketball game of the year linds Rons and Dack breathlessly limp, and tied. Five quarters equal one whole -Dack victory as extra basketball quarter is played. The bird on the wing is served at a merry Pine Grove chicken roast. Dack toilers of the sea win last swimming meet. The sing is over, a Ron triumph, but the melody lingers on. Ron-Dack is again Rondack at Iinal team campiire. Rons are the champions of 1934. The Staff saunters forth to Chestertown for an interlude in Paris. Tarzan has fun swinging on trees, and Mr. Orleans almost stands on his head to show us camp pictures. Yeave ho, mv lassies! All aboard the S. S. Rondack for a rollicking team party. The cry of the hour is, Lights, as we Finally see ourselves in the movies. We pack with trunk locks a-snapping and duffies a-gappingf' and we feast from soup to nuts to baked Alaska. A Nlidsummer Nightmare turns out to be the hilarious opus in three epics of our councillors' Twenty-three Skidoof' XVe take tearful leave of trunks and duffles. Off to Treasure Island. Campers get what they deserve in evenings awards. The cast cntrains. This tilm will next be seen on Broadway. 30

Hears she needs one more to be eligible for GAG. She is perplexed and excited. Wfhat is GAG? Dis- covers it to be the greatest camp honor, a society of the elect, whose name stands for the best in Character, Athletics, Camper. Determines then to work hard for third star. One week later. Scene is at ratings in Social Hall. Camper sits with bated breath. Hears her third star read. Is thrilled to her toes. Hastily reviews her sins. Promises herself that she will be more prompt to activi- ties, that she will be more helpful in the bunk. Monday evening. One week later. Scene is campfire. The sun has just set. The pines are fragrant in the Grove, the water gently laps the shore, the flames crackle. Mr. Chankin, after many moments of almost unbearable suspense, leads our camper toward the fire-a new Gagger. Softly GAG greets her with Gamma Alpha Gamma Girls. Her camp- mates shower her with congratulations. Her eyes till with tears, and she silently vows she will ever be worthy of GAG. 32
