A long morning swim calms our fevercd brows. The Dacks raise their temperatures again with a swim-meet vic- tory. Our Juniors and Freshies do their Dutch Doings, outdoing themselves and the Dutch in a captivating performance. NVhoopee ti-yi-yo, git along little campers l Bunk A goes over the hill-billies with a cowboy camplire of song, dance and contest. A-hiking we will go -by bus, canoe and motorboat. Our sturdy mountaineers dare Rondack's alps and fare forth to Pharaoh. They return from a walking strain to The Racing Strain with XVally Reid, jr. Son Juniors capture newcombe, 2-l. Rondack Seniors capture hearts at Senior L ight. RoNn,xC'l's drive makes green and brown see red in Get Out of the Red campaign. Twilight thoughtlessly interrupts baseball contest. ln the evening we put our heads together in charades. l'Ve're having a tropical heat wave. lnter baseball concludes with Rons leading. Dack Olympians out-track Rons, 28-31. Ron Seniors court victory in basketball, 19-6. Mabel and Natalies Midnight Fantasieu delights us. Little VVomen of our medium-sized Seniors is a big hit. Echoes of piratical ditties herald the coming operetta. Rons yield another water- meet to their friendly enemies. Izzy gets the lirst surprise of her life. Roslyn comes into her annual inheritance of lollypops. From the ridiculous to the sublime- music of Beethoven in the evening. By the waters of Schroon Lake the Rondack braves gather in an Indian campfire, matching brains, brawn and volubility in a variety of games. Travel broadens us as we take ourselves to Saratoga, Pharaoh, and Grasshopper Hill. A highly edifying evening with Black Beauty and Alexander Kirkland's southern accent. The Pirates practice their nefarious schemes in full morning rehearsal. Ron Inters volley the ball to a victory. Seniors prcen and primp for Senior Night. We soak ourselves in Schroon's blue waters as Rondack gets its allotment of the nation-wide heat-wave. A welcome deluge! Pirates in modern dress rehearsal. Puppet Ivan Ivanovitch wins his bride and love is triumphant in a 'Russian melodramovitch. The Pirates of Penzance invade Rondack, ruthlessly steal all honors and applause, and daringly capture the entire audience in splendid performance. Hurrah for the Pirate King, the councillors, and the all-star cast. Campers again bite the dust in a camper-councillor volleyball game. Cayuga enter- tains our sophisticated Seniors. We stay-at-homes view scenes from Mozartls life. Rondacles Amazons turn to new athletic activity: the clique of knitters and the click of needles now seen and heard everywhere. First Gag announcement brings glory to the Priscilla-Mildred-XVOHT escutcheon. Gag revelry at the Point. VVhen do we eat F -and the Pine Grove bears a strange harvest of hot-dogs, pine needles, and French crullers. ln the evening The Sweetheart of Sigma Chil' gath- ers a harvest of fraternity-pins. Second act of the great Rondack film begins with Dack Senior victory in volley-ball. Pageant rehearsal. Send the word that the boys are coming for Senior Night. Dack lnters come forward with a basketball victory. Bunk A plays hostess to Rondack's social- Dancing Daughters. The gentle rain from Heaven droppeth all morning and we pageant-rehearse in- doors. Our little Hebrew dancers win a spontaneous round of applause. Rons take a track in their stride. Rondack and Walt Wfhitman greet the peoples of the earth in brilliant spectacle of color and dance, Salut au Monde ! and Salut au Rondackf' An evening with the romantic composers. Visiting day with a vengeance. Dack Juniors punch-a-ball to victory. Seniors go The Last Mile to Schroon Lake Camp. We carry on at home with a grand Salamagundi Party. Around the clock with your next dav's program, girls, to a camplire in the jungle. Strangely mild savages entertain to the beat of tom-toms, and Gag greets Virginia, Isabel, Ruth, and Arline. Tuesclay's vagabondia-a la bus, canoe, motorboat, and horseback. VVe return, and so does Casey Jones. Ron girls, roar approval of victories in swim-meet and lnter volley-ball.
