I heard that their daughter Penelope is engaged to Percy Porcupine from up by the Haunted House way, and if so I'll simply have to get busy look- ing for a wedding present. 'Cause you know th-o-se engagements are always pretty short in the Porcupine family. So toodle-oo! As the form of his wife disap- peared around a big bould-er, Samuel fixed himself comfortably in his big rocking chair, adjusted his spec- tacles, and picked up the Sunday Spectator again, all the whil-e chuck- ling t-o himself.
