10. Guess what? We finally sent our order in for our rings. 13. No, we want whitep NO, WE want blue-oh well we'll settle for white if you feel that way about it. 15. Hey, we finally decided on our class flower cmd color. We're doing pretty good. Ruth, are you sure you have to leave? Boy, that was a beautiful Christmas pro- gram -- the best we've ever had. 16. Get your new PUP'S TALE. Two pages have been added. 17. Santa Clause is coming to townrdum, dum Yes, School is out for the Christmas Va- cation! I can't stay here until 12:00 P.M. putting up decorations. 18. After working ourselves to death, we managed to drag ourselves to the dance. Sur- prisingly, it was a big success. . 25. Merry Christmas to one and all!! JANUARY 1. Oh, my aching head, and l'm so sleepy. Looks like I would have learned from last year. 3. School already, and l was supposed to study during the holidays. 6. Come on, Seniors, we have to decide on the motto. 10. Come with me Beulah, in my merry model-T was the song that filled the halls when Mr. Durr's old annual was discovered. 11. Rah, Bah. We finally beat Swansboro. Score: 4846. Let's forget the girl's game. 13. Yea, we got it!! We got our class motto. 17. Don't leave lim. What will Pat do without you! 18. Hooray! 54-40 iThe old Battle Cry, 54-40.or iight had nothing on us.l Too bad White Oak. The girls' team is having a run oi bad luck-not one win this season. 19. Not another theme-Mr. Morton have a heart. 21. The day has come and every one piles his things aboard the bus and prepares to spend a weekend in Ouantico that will end all weekends. Everybody has to leave the dance at 10:30 -important game tomorrow. 22. We got a T-E-A-M, That's on the B-E-A-M-as we trample over Quantico in both games. Final scores: Girls, 18-37p Boys, 59-27. We celebrate tonight, at the big dance. 23. Home we go with rolls of pictures to black-mail everyone. 25. What's happened to these boys? Won again. Morehead, 427 Camp Leieune, 52. 26. Mid term exams already!! Gosh, what are the answers to all these MacBeth ques- tions??? FEBRUARY 1. Ah, breathe a sigh of relief, exams are over. Be prepared Beaufort!! 2. What! an A on your report card!! You've been cheating again. 3. Yea, Bob did it. He became a Senior in three years. Now we have a class oi 14, but it is a good one. 4. Oh boy, another Pup's Tale. Off to our rival for the breathtaking game of the season. ll. St. Va1entine's Day Dance. Will you be my Valentine? 14. Very impressive Honor Society Tapping Ceremony. 20. Quit scratching your heads, Seniors. We know you got your class rings .... 21. Hurray, the DEVILPUP was sent to press. 22. Happy Birthday to the father of our country, George Washington, and we do get out oi school today. 23. County Tournament at Jacksonville has begun. 24. Did you see the Can you 1magine in this edition of the Pup's Ta1e. 25. Spelling, Recitation, and Declamation Contest. Why, I didn't know you could spell. Frankly, 1 can'tg I was framed into this. MARCH 1. Off we go to Swansboro for the Conference games. 14. More exams. l'm glad there are only two and a half months of school left. 17. St. Patrick's Day. The Irish showed in all trtue lrishrnen today. Clancy lowered the boom. 18. l'm not going home, we got report cards today. 22. Baseball seasons here and so is Spring Fever-- Oh, take me out to the ball game. 24. Did all you boys sign up for the chance of a life time? APRIL l. l bid 2c. The poor boys didn't have a chance at the Sadie Hawkins race. Did you see Marrying Sam at the dance???? 7. Spring vacation begins at the close of school today. l don't believe I could last any longer without a vacation. 8. Good Friday. 10. Happy Easter everyone! I just love your new outfit. Another big event-Barbara's birthday - 18, already???? 12. Back to the old grind- funny, l'm glad to get back. 22. Look out Hollywood-here we come-!!!!'I'he Senior Class put on an amusing play. 25. Exams again. Getting kind of tiresome. 29. Report cards again. You thought 1'd tell you another sad story about not being able to take it home, but actually, I made better grades this time. MAY 2. Do-re-mi-ia .... The Glee Club did it again .... another beautiful concert. 13. Tonight will be remembered above every other night. Thank you, Juniors, for the best Junior-Senior Prdm ever put on in this school. 18. Can you jump over two feet? Good!! You can sign up for the high jump contest, since today is Field Day. 20. But I was supposed to get an award on Honor Day. Why did you get all of them??? 27. Live it up Seniors, this is the last Class Night you'll ever have!!!! 29.
