CLASS HISTORY As graduation draws nearer and nearer, it is hard to realize that next fall we, the Class of '55, will not be returning to dear old C.L.H.S. It seems such a short time ago that we were frustrated Freshmen, eager and willing to learn and participate in all the school activities. Mark Haney was our president, and with the aid of Mrs. Keeler, our sponsor, we all had a wonderful year. In our Sophomore year we settled down and really began to get in the swing of high school activities. A number of us were on the athletic teams, and four of our classmates became Probationary members of the National Honor Society. We sponsored the Saint Patrick's Day dance, and everyone agreed it was one of the most successful dances held at Camp School. Mr. Aman and Mark Haney led us through another delightful year of achievements. Our Iunior year passed swiftly. Mrs. Dunkle was our capable advisor the first semester, but due to transfer, she had to leave us. Mrs. O'Brien took over, and did a grand job of it. Our main worry as Iuniors was raising money for the Junior-Senior Banquet. We were fortunate enough to get part of the profits from the ice cream concession. After months of worrying, planning, and working, the day of the Prom finally arrived. We feasted scrumptiously on a banquet prepared by the Camp Cafeteria, and danced till all hours to the excellent music of the famed Collegians. Our many thanks to Mrs. Finley, Miss In- gram, Mr. Roach, and Mr. Cohen for their help in making this dance such an impressive and memorable occasion. We started our Senior year off by welcoming our new sponsor, Mr. Morton, and also electing our president. You guessed it! Mark Haney was our choice again! The excitement of ordering our rings and invitations, electing the Annual and Newspaper Staff, selecting the Senior play, and TRYING to find time to study had us all in a daze. Although our class has dwindled during these four years, due to the coming and going of many of our friends, our Senior class of fourteen has been successful in all the ventures undertaken this year. It's been hectic at times trying to divide all the things that need to be done among our small classy many of us have been constantly working on several ventures at once, fighting Macbeth, struggling over themes: but we've finally reached our goal, and as we look back over the years, We know we've loved every minute of it and it was Worth it all.
