Supply Division was responsible for keeping our clothes washed, our heads shaved, our divisions supplied, and our sto- machs Filled. During the cruise theywashed l,987 divisional laundry -bags, cut 3,796 heads of hair, and Fed us 57,224 cups of coke, 227 pounds of peanut butter, 8,l00 individual boxes of cereal, l,550 pounds of coffee, and 52,288 fresh eggs. For the entire cruise, Supply paid the crew S270,886.00, of which we spent S3l,769.00 in Hong, Kong, and during our visit to Yokosuka, we spent S27,405.00 in a day and a half! They have kept our shelves stocked with pencils, sourballs, cigarettes, Flash- light batteries, toothpaste, snickers, Wristwatches, and shower shoes.
