and Various Academic Departments Botany laboratory students produce drawings. Cameron is a two-year college whose many graduates have be¬ come community, state and national leaders in government, busi¬ ness, industry and the professions. An institution fully accredited by the North Central Accrediting Association and by the Oklahoma State Department of education. A faculty and student body whose prestige in community af¬ fairs and church activities is notable. With the emphasis on math and science in 1962, Cameron ' s labs are busy turning out effective students who are prepared to become mathematicians, engineers and scientists in the senior col¬ leges across the nation. Daily work in electronics, biology, physics, agronomy, and chemistry are laboratory courses which combine the most effec¬ tive teaching and learning. Chemistry majors conduct experi¬ ments. 5

and the Most Modern Facilities Many new teaching aids, which will make it easier for in¬ structors to communicate with students, and which will be of great assistance in the various departments are in use at Cameron now. In addition to a new Webcor Compact Deluxe Tape re¬ corder, there is a new Magnavox Automatic record player, and an outstanding collection of long play record albums, for use in all of the language arts department classes. The new overhead projectors include a Vu-Graph, a Master Vu-Graph, and a Thermo-Fax portable projector for use in the language arts, drafting technology and math departments. There are two new Underwood electric typewriters, an IBM electric typewriter, an Underwood manual typewriter with a math keyboard, along with an A. B. Dick Duplicator and a Newcomb Transcription record player with head phones, pri¬ marily for use in the business department. These are just a few of the modern instructional aids pur¬ chased yearly at the college.
