VIGLETA CECILIA GILL Hluittle Joyn of the upper-classmen, UVion is one ol the old reliables as her record proves. She is one of the more cosmopoli- tan among us, having been born in Pana- ma, traveled and lived in Haiti, Havana, and Costa Rica. ' Until her senior year Hvion slaved in the otlices ol the Sodalityg the Student' Body claimed her as disciplinarian in her last term ol H45.H Take a strong second voice in Glee, an ardent volley-baller, a pun-malcer ol the Utoid degreef, a devotee ol? Saint Cecelia, and a certain seventh grade teacher, and shalce them up together, the result: Miss Vio Joy Gill. ' MARY MAGDALENA GINGLARDI Alle-ctionately dubbed Hlvlaggien by the senior class, Magdalena is one of the fav- ored lew who have struggled twelve years through the grades ol Villa Montemar. Sur- prisingly, she bears few marlcs of the pro- longed battle and seems so reluctant to leave that she,s planning on some post- graduate worlc next tall. Maggie has proved to be the life-saving dependable of the class, whenever an activity or emergency pops up, there she is to offer the seeming impossible. Lilce Abbott and Costello, Maggie and Daphne lorm a legendary pair. Aslc any senior about Daphne, her roly-poly cousin ol three, who furnishes hall the laughs ol the class. Vveyll miss the sight ol Daphne in her levis trudging down the halls loolc- ing lor HTulla.H fMaggiei.

As an active member ot the Sodality, she has supported every activity, assisted in all meetings, and encouraged the girls to attend each devo- tion. The Sodalists realized tVtargaret's cap- ahilities and they elected her vice-prefect tor two years. She was chosen as chairman ot the second section ot Our Ladyys Com- mittee in her senior year where she again displayed her leadership. HlVlaggieH is the proud possessor ot a classy car that has acted as a taxi more than once. Without it, toothall games, drug stores, and Glee Cluh recitals would not have been attended hy some ot the seniors. .43 fn!-g,0,,, pfrlv ',prg,4,, 'bf MARIA DOLORES FERREIRA Dolores Ferreira lmown to everyone as Lolis has heen at Our Lady ot Peace tor three years, hut she joined the class ot U45,U in her senior year since she had heen at- tending summer school. ANASTASIA GLAVAS Here is musical talent, intelligence, de- pendability, and humor combined with blond Greet: beauty in Anna of the class ot H-45.H She has been one ot the most zealous Academy boosters, and can claim at least one other senior,s presence at the Villa as the result ot her protuse praise for all at our Alma Mater. Need anything,-a poem for the Annual, a super saleswoman for the Bond Drive, a lift downtown? Just say it loudly enough so that Anna hears, and it is as good as done. Not one to Hblow her own horn,u Anna doesn't publicize her extra-curricular work, such as the hours spent in Greet: relief worlc, her helping hand for her father in his business all summer, her position ot organ master and director ot both choirs at Church. But we believe this is our oppor- tunity to render praise where it is due, and say, Orchids to you, Anna, for being one ot' our outstanding girls? SALLY ANN HAYES Versatile, vitality-filled Sal, our gal, has brightened the Villa during the past two years. Hailing from La Mesa, uthe wilder- nessf' Sally is an enthusiast ot the outdoors, baslcet-ball, eating, and the Sodality. Her two Academy years have been paclced with activity and prestige, having been elected junior class president tor her last quarter of our junior year and Sodality prefect lor H44U and M45.H An actress ot sorts ta carry over from AGrossmont Highl, we can usually tool: to her tor enlivenment ot the drama classes and the gym court. She has the ad- ded attraction ot a very eligible brother, a lieutenant in the Marine Corps, whose pres- ence at the prom she sold to the highest bid- der! Truly Sally has been a most amusing and likeable addition to the senior class, one weyll not soon forget.
