For my eyes: That l may see The beauties ot this world, The reds, and lorowns, and golds Ot leaves in autumn, The clear hlue lalces, And cloudless, lovely slcies. For my ears: That l may hear The sound ot children's laughter, The singing ot birds high in trees, Vvaters rushing hy, And the music ot the wind. For the sense ot touch: wat l may teel ie coolness ot early morning, ue dampness ot green grass At dawn, T1e warmth ot a spring breeze Tae sottness ot the ground. For the sense ot smell: Tiat I may lcnow the Fragrance ot newly plowed earth, Tie perfume ot loeautitul tlowers ln T 'r T T late afternoon, ne spiciness ot wood. For the gift ot taste: Tnat I may taste Tie sweetness ot honey, T1e delicate flavor ot spring water Freshly drawn, Tae tang ot persimmons, The truits ot the land.
