Teacher's aide Ms. Doris Purcell explains the day's assignment to her sixth hour class. ith students reading from the second grade to college level, the Reading Department was stressing needed skills for each student. Students were offered a variety of activities from a library of mini-packs designed to help them pass State reading requirements. Library work included thorough Ms. Ann Tear prepares a Elm presentation for her third hour Modern Reading Technique class. Reading Department stresses academic skills with tutors reviewing of how to use the Read- ers Guide. A new addition to the Reading Department was the Student Tu- toring Program, which cooperated with the Learning Disabilities Center.
