A Capella Choir, which meets third period, has been busy this year. They sponsored three special music groups: Boys' Quartet, Ensemble, and Girls' Trio. Singers for Madrigals were also selected from this group. Members sold Mason's candy to finance a trip to Tucson and All-State choir at Flagstaff. The organ- igation also had the Dunk the Choir booth at the Spartan Holiday and appeared at several assemblies. Officers this year were Bill Nelson, vice president, Wendy Tuch, secretary, and Bill Steele, president.

Ani ciuiz 0 The Art Club, headed by Mr. Miron Webster and Mr. Roosevelt Woods, was organized to promote the artistic abilities and ambitions of aspiring art students at Camelback. Three years old, the club has to its credit a list of many and varied activities, among them are a number of field trips to art museums, sketching trips, and parties. Concert Choir is a three-part girls' chorus and is under the direction of Miss Jean Ziebell. The group made several appearances at school assemblies and sang at the annual PTA Christmas program. Also at Christmas time, they went caroling at several of the valley hospitals. Choir members gave the band a helping hand by ushering at the Bill Page concert at North High. Serving as Concert Choir officers were Connie Sampson, vice president, Linda Sadler, president, and Mary Beth Moore, librarian. Missing from the picture is Louise Greeland, secretary.
