The above poem fparaphrasedp it seems to me-is indicative of the mood of people who, in years hence, look at the pages of their high school annual. May I urge each of you not to dwell too much in the past, when you glean the pages of this book, but that you look to the future and that you strive to become the sort of American citizen that you, during your greatest moments of ideal- ism, dreamed of being. :..z1---xg. ,.......L.1. 2 ffzyh 5411001 Przhczpal alelmfufary Supervisars mi. .lfrd To the chiiuren of Camdenton Schools: School days, school days, dear old school days. There is reading, writing, arithmetic, homework, teachers, class- mates, tests, friendships, school activi- ties, discipline, graduation and all the other ingredients so unique with school life. It is my hope that from all these school experiences students will realize it is not so much what we get out of life but what we put into it that determines how large the returns may be. George M.
