Dedication Mrs. Mary Stinson Schooling - not to mention education - does not stop as we step out of the classroom. For four years our lives have been touched by a woman who has never even thought of herself as a teacher. But we have, nonethe- less, learned much from her. We have learned that smiles help to brighten the worst of days, that every person likes to be called by name, that any sit- uation - no matter how hectic and confused - can be handled in a calm, understanding manner, ’’e have learned from her the alue of being organized, of aving a quiet voice, of trusting thers. How many of us have not sorrowed a lunch ticket, asked to use her phone, or received a late slip with a reassuring smile? In the years ahead, we may forget a bit of history, math, English and science, but we will always remember the kind woman who keeps CRHS running - Mrs. Mary Stinson.

Yearbook Staff It Was . . . It's their baby, folks . . . ... a year that was hectic, fun, frustrating and challenging - a year, an experience, like many others. Take a new advisor, a couple of most able greenhorns and put them in a subterranean concrete bomb shelter at odd hours - stir- ring occasionally - and watch for results. You have them in your hands. We hope you like it. Despite soccer and field hockey, myriad English meet- ings, conflicting schedules, relentless deadlines, and a touch of evening sickness - it all came together. The co-editors, Lori Renn and Peter Elliott, learned a lot and in the process created a book - a history of a year in a small but special Maine high school. They struggled valiantly with layouts and copy, class mottoes and ballots, personali- ties and picas. And they had help. Mary Simonton led the subscription drive - despite the corny PA announcements. Jan Sorenson bailed us out on advertising. Chipper missed the photo but was there to help on baby pictures. In fact, all those cheery folks in the photo at the right did their part. They have the school's thanks.
