Mrs. Dallas Mrs. Anne Dallas is our school librarian. She works very hard to try to fill everyone’s needs, through newspapers, books, magazines, and films. Mrs. Dallas’ work is never done and we of the Excalihur staff thank her for her never ending work to help improve our school. Mrs. Tommie Pylant has dedicated more of her life here on our campus than any other member of our staff. Mrs. Pylant has been the Academy secretary for 18 years. We hope she’s going to be here another 18 years. Mrs. Davis Mrs. Bessie Davis is our school dietician. She works seven days a week to bring us the meals we all enjoy, though she doesn’t receive a whole lot of credit. We of the Excalibur staff thank her and her staff. 10

military Srpartmrnt CSM Stanley S. Staley. This is CSM Staley’s sixth year of service to C.M.A, He has many responsibilities. Among them head of the supply room, the faculty adviser to the honored James F. Risher guard, and a ROTC instructor. Even though he tried to act rough, he’s like a father to all the cadets. We can still hear him say, “When in doubt, salute.” We of the Excalibur staff salute you, sir. C.M.A.’s “Man of the Year” SSG Richard B. Cayton. SSG Cayton is the only active United States Army member at Camden Military Academy. Among his numer- ous duties and responsibilities, he teaches two JROTC classes twice a week. On the day he’s not in class he is always involved in some activity to improve our school. SSG Cayton
