ADMINISTRATION COL. JAMES F. RISHER President For twelve years Col. Lanning P. Risher, our Headmaster, has worked hard to make CMA one of the best military schools in the nation. He has built up the school from 87 cadets in 1958-59 to a full capacity of 245 cadets in 1969-1970. His efforts have been untiring, and the excellence of the school in its many phases this year is largely due to this effort. No problem is too small or too large to be carried to the Colonel’s office, and we know that we will have a sympathetic, understanding, and impartial hearing. A noted citizen of South Carolina, a man to look up to, is Col. James F. Risher. In 1958 he founded Camden Military Acad- emy, after teaching and acting as Head- master of Carlisle Military School. Through his various actions over the years he has helped to influence the lives of many young men. His efforts in the educational field are full of sacrifices. Thus we can truly say Col. James F. Risher’s life is one for a cadet to live up to. COL LANNING P. RISHER Headmaster

ADMINISTRATION Col. James T. Dallas is the Commandant of Cadets. Through his past twelve years of service here at Camden Military Acad- emy he has striven to make the academy excel in all phases of its activities with each passing year. We commend him on his contributions, and we know that he will al- ways be there to help all of us. Col. James T. Dallas, a great educator, now striving to help better the lives of all cadets. LT. COL JAMES T. DALLAS Commandant Major William P. Beckham is the assistant Commandant of Cadets, This man has known each cadet and what he has done this past year, as years before. His guidance and constant bearing on our behavior has certainly helped us in the development of our lives as responsible citizens.
