THE HEADMASTER Col. Lanning P. Risher Colonel Lanning P. Risher was born September 19, 1931, the son of our presi- dent, James F. Risher, He attended the public schools of Bamberg, South Caro- lina, and Carlisle Military School. In 1955 he came out of the Army with the rank of 1st Lieutenant of the Infantry. He taught at Carlisle for three years prior to coming here as headmaster in 1958. For the past six years Col. Risher has put forth much effort to make Camden Military Academy a top rate school.
