Such a person is Mrs. Christine Drew. She is the person that the Franco-Ameri- can Quaker, Stephen Grellet, aptly described when he wrote: I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow-creature, let me do it now, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again . We are grateful for your kindness, and we Wish to dedicate to you our 1977 PURPLE AND GOLD YEARBOOK. May it always serve as a reminder of our love and appreciation.

In ppreciation 41 W g ff- X f Frederick Langbridge once wrote, Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars . Such is the nature of one of our most successful coaches, Mr. Clarence Turner, who has dedi- cated himself to helping our young men become all that they are capable of becoming. Building, winning, chal- lenging, caring are words that reflect your spirit, Mr. Turner. These quali- ties have, as Frederick Langbridge wrote, enabled you to see the stars and have challenged us to do the same. For your faith in us, your en- couragement of us, your dedication to us, we wish to leave a part of our lives. To you, Mr. Turner we dedicate our 1977 PURPLE AND GOLD YEAR- BOOK.
