English Department Stimulates Students Betty Hankins - Chairperson ENGLISH DEPARTMENT The English Department has attempted to make English more exciting for the Senior class this year. For the first time, the Eng- lish curriculm included several nine week mini-courses in the English area, such as Black Lit- erature, Values, Myths, and Cre- ative Writing. The English Mini-Courses have stimulated greater participation, and attendance, as well as pro- vided a more relevant experience for our graduates this year. We hope that this year's class will remember the Engligh mini- courses as an innovative step to- ward better education.
