Helping to keep the books in the library in circulation, the Library Council is a vital part ol our school life. The Steering Committee is a senior group which helps in the planning of senior functions.

a pattern ... and teachers: the Brooks-Irvine Committee, which decides our choice for this sportsmanship award from among our football opponents, the Assembly Program Committee, which arranges and schedules auditorium programs, the Traffic Force, Whose officers help students move from class to class more efficiently: and the Ushers, who assist at our evening programs by seating people, collecting tickets, and making the evening more comfortable. The capable Student Government officers this year are Bill Caputi, president, Mary DeFrank, vice-presi- dent, Carol Nicholson, recorder, Ioe DiVello, sec- retary, and Carol Davison, treasurer. The entire group is under the able supervision of Miss Ruth Carey. Our democratic Student Government is the factor which makes life at the Castle enjoyable. Those handsome well dressed fellows who show you to your seats during the various shows are none other than our efficient Usher staff To keep the movement of students between classes flowing smoothly is the job of the Traffic Force.

a uerfbing fAe ro ucf V7 TAXBM A A-'Ev Q' f The three editors ot the Castle Crier talk over the Mr. Spare and staff members read the final copy of the changes before going to press. paper Under the able guidance of Mr. Edward Spare, the journalism classes publish the school newspaper. Under the leadership ot Shirley Wiesner, editor, and her stall, the Castle Crier is placed in the hands ot the Camden High students each month. The Crier contains write-ups about the various activities of our student body. An added feature of this publication this year has been articles featuring many ot the famous recording artists who had appeared in nearby places. Besides the enjoyment which it gives the school body, the paper also gives those interested in newspaper work some first-hand experience which they can apply when their school days are finished. f RE . !f'Z,,,a ' -'E' ....,,s so e -if...
