TEIVIPTATION We were tempted to dream, to achieve, to join and erjoy the year at CHS. Temptations were in a- bundant supply for all stu- dents-like the large, lus- cious sundae, tempting us to have it all ---- all the joys, the frustrations and the glow of achievement that comes with being part of a successful school year. Cars,- Racey, fancy, ex- pensive. The dream of all students. Some had them, some didn't, but all of us desired to own a car that would be the envy of every- one else. We were tempted to be considered the best dressed students in town. Tempted to spend a fortune on de- signer jeans like Calvin Kleins and Gloria Vander- bilts. However, we were also tempted to spend our money in a way that ,K sttss Yfffl wi W- ji fl ir' fi f f? iiii' brought us instant excite- ment and challenge ---- on video games. The video game craze has swept the nation and CHS students were not immune to Video Game fever. Romance, the dream of dreams for students, to find the one and only, was a real temptation for most of us at CHS. Dating, doing home- work together, planning for the future, were all part of the framework for the school year. The fmal temptation, the ultimate goal for seniors was to achieve the engraved piece of paper that said,- Congratulations, you made it. You are a success. Graduation, the dream which began in August for seniors and was fulfilled in May, brought with it the temptations and challenges for a wonderful future.
