At all times Mr. Holt has the job of keeping order in the school as well as maintaining a well organized school program. His mathematics classes are sought by students because of his knowledge of the sub- ject and his ability to impart that knowledge to the students. Each year the American Le- gion and the American Legion Auxiliary sponsor Boys' State and Girls' State, respectively, in order to allow the young people of Arkansas to put into practice the theories they have-learned about their city, county and state government. Outstanding students are chosen to attend these meetings in the summer preceding their senior year in high school. For the past few years these conventions have been held at Camp Robinson in Little Rock. Later in the summer Boys' and Girls' Nation conventions are held in Washington, D. C. Every state in the Union and the Panama Canal Zone are allowed to send two delegates to each of these conventions where the young people put into actual practice the procedure of run- ning our national government. This year Camden was fortunate in having Anne Geddie to be se- lected as one of the Arkansas delegates to attend the meeting in the nation's capital. f ,ff 'X ,-X ,ff www X Ref, z ah SAM COLEMAN Head Coach RUSHING GORDON NEXVTON JACK SHIREY im Newton carries the ball for ood ard'1 'C in the 400 ' g Y 18 ' rout of Smackover.
