Folk Song Society The Camden County College Folksong Society is a new organization on campus this year. lt was started by a group of interested students to bring about an interest in contemporary and traditional Folk Music ffrom James Taylor to Leadbellyj. The main objective is to share ideas, songs, and instrumental techniques with other students. Also to teach beginners the rudiments of folk music through the use of workshops run by students already accomplished in the folk idiom. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in any aspect of folk music and want to share his or her ideas and to learn from others. Ecology Club The almost amorphous Ecology Club on campus attempted to point out to the students, faculty, and administration that an environmental crisis does exist. The club, though limited by few members and an apathetic campus, did try to spearhead some interest and projects such as tickets issued to every vehicle driven on campus, a national Ecology flag flown on campus, a 'sDrive to School on a Bicycle Day , visitation to various college campuses, presenting a speaker on campus, etc. The term Ecology,' must dwell within the people's conscience.
