Folk Song Society The Camden County College Folksong Society is a new organization on campus this year. lt was started by a group of interested students to bring about an interest in contemporary and traditional Folk Music ffrom James Taylor to Leadbellyj. The main objective is to share ideas, songs, and instrumental techniques with other students. Also to teach beginners the rudiments of folk music through the use of workshops run by students already accomplished in the folk idiom. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in any aspect of folk music and want to share his or her ideas and to learn from others.
