Speakers 1970-1971 On February 19, 1971 in our school audi- torium we had the privilege of having Arch- bishop Fulton Sheen give a lecture. His lec- ture was entitled Life is Worth Livingu. There was such an overwhelming crowd that a closed circuit T.V. was set up in the Gym to accommodate the excess crowd who could not fit into the auditorium. The crowd consisted not only of the students, but also of the members of the community. Among being one of the best speakers here at our college, he has also published several books and has more in preparation. Max Lerner, noted syndicated news- paper columnist and one of America's out- standing political scientists presented a lec- ture at Camden County College on Novem- ber 20, 1970. Dr. Lerner has written exten- sively on law, politics, and social theory. His classic work, i'America As A Civilization is used as a basic text in many universities throughout the world. Max Lerner's topic for the evening was Education and the Image of Man .
