This year has witnessed a memorable event in the history of man-Pope Paul VI leading the Church in a unique journey into the heart of this complex modern world. Joined with the people of God, he guides them in a dynamic desire to com- municate more fully Christis message of peace and unity. So, too, this year marks a milestone in the history of Camden Catholic. In the past four years we have grown and will continue to grow through an honest reap- praisal and a closer communication of our common Christ-like purpose and message. This book is presented with the prayer that it may serve the cause of peace through the reflection of its works at Camden Cath- olic.

Father Charles Giglio accepts a gift of welcome from the student body presented to him by Timothy Poley and Marie Brennan. The student body was first introduced to Father Giglio when he celebrated Mass for their intentions. HELLO! e preselzf our fridufe of honor and of frusf. H Our way through life is made sweet by the friends who border its path. Father Von Hartleben is such a friend. He had a dream for Camden Catholic which remains to inspire us always. Now comes the time of parting and we can only thank him for the love he bears us and pray that God will look upon him kindly in all his undertakings and grant him peace. As the present fades into the past, our gaze turns expectantly to the future. To Father Giglio we pledge our loyalty, devotion and, yes, our love. To his guid- ance is entrusted the destiny of our course, and we join him in the prayer that it will be a beacon to all men of peace. 1 l
