The team got off on the wrong foot but at about mid- season they were fairly burning up the league. They won sixteen straight games in the last the pennant race, finishing second only to the championship Wattsburg team. the boys played good basketball but the standout and all-county forward was Bob Owen. Eob sparked the team to most of the victories uxile finishing second in the indiv- idual scoring race.
