UII5 I 11 IUII if We the people of CRLS, in orderto form a more perfect class, establish domina- tion over other high schools, insure fundamental equality, provide forthe funding -Q, of the class trip, protect the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to 'l ourselves and in turn our friends, do ordain this Constitution for the Cambridge if Rindgeand Latin School. .L fi Article l -'1 Section I - All Legislative powers granted shall be rested in a student govern- 7,2 ment, and shall consist of the senior class executive board and it's advisors. P. Section 2 - The executive board shall be composed of members of every house, chosen each senior year by the people of Cambridge Rindge and Latin. Section 3 - The advisors shall be selected year by year by our supreme and all powerful, wise, and immortal ruler, the Edward Sarasin. Section 4 - CRLS shall raise revenue through the endless pushing of MEMS and donuts. Raffle tickets shall also be sold, all these should be done with the hon- esty and thoroughness characteristic of the students of CRLS. Article 2 Section I - The executive power shall be vested in a president who shall be called Chip. He shall hold his office for a period of eight months along with his Vice-Prez, Sandra. Section 2 - Chip shall from time to time give to the executive board the gift of pertinent information concerning the status of our fair school, and we shall all benefit from his wisdom. AMENDMENTS Amendment l - All students shall have the right to talk back to any student or member of the staff, all students should note that before practicing this right, they should be prepared to back themselves, or suffer the consequences. Amendment 2 - Students shall not bear arms, for true warriors of CRLS shall not need arms, but only the swiftness of tongue, wiggle of neck, suck of tooth, andtroll of the eyes necessary to put anyone in their place. Amendment 3 - All houses shall be considered equal. Amendment 4 - All students shall have the right to keep the contents of their lockers private.
