Here we al-) {—Ma =o Mae -le ae) 2) elearelalic(——mrel |—-ael-ielem ne) have a good time. CRLS is diverse in its student population, staff, classes, and extracurricular activities. Our years at CRLS have been memorable ones. This yearbook is a special collection of memories which we can reflect upon in the years to come. Time passes quickly and the pictures capture special moments. The yearbook staff has tried to include all the people and all the activities at CRLS. For the seniors, we have tried to focus on your activities, successes and yes some failures. The staff has endeavored to capture the entire school, while spotlighting the CLASS of ’82. We hope we have been successful in this effort. TT PO SN Academics The wide variety of academic classes at CRLS gave us a chance to learn about many different subjects. Students found specific interest which they wanted to explore after high school. Others discovered that they were not seeking the highest academic goals but social ones. These too were provided for our students. The students and teachers worked together, each learning from the other. The academic opportunities at CRLS opened up several channels of instruction. These included the Social Sciences, Mathematics, Modern Languages, English and the Arts. The multitude of extra-curricular offering meade school more enjoyable for most students. Sharing with friends and teachers made life at CRLS meaningful. Helping each other in many ways and trying to understand when things didn’t go as planned helped us to reach maturity. rae TS, Xe AF G@RRESE NIG Eiiae College Night was a wonderful way to introduce students to the many colleges which they considered as college-bound seniors. Many seniors took advantage of the fair which ran from 7 — SG PM in the cafeteria. Representatives of colleges from Massachusetts and other states had information tables. Conferances, pamphlets, and mailing lists were all great sources of information. The students got the opportunity to investigate the variety of classes, special programs, financial aid policies and other general information about the colleges. It helped seniors to realize their options and help them to look toward future goals. V2 13 Rete te eee isis October 5, p ic D) ZZ. O O) v 0 O () _] L O Even though school is designed to prepare one academically for the future, the social aspects of our high school years can't be overlooked. We came to the high school from different elementary schools and communities, we soon made friendships that would last forever. To many of us the experiences shered with friends are some of the fondest memories we have of high school. They made getting out of bed each morning worth it. 16 AZ TAME (ajay 18 LOC ATer Soe ViE@NeE “RAYS”, ENJOY A LWNUIE Sp lS} = FIGS) Wes l= CAMERA! 1S retain Py ae is é ie Si reer, rad | .2. mhienasnips ....: ... A DAY AT THE = SENIOR GOVERNMENT Senior Class Officers: President Mark Parise, Treasurer Paul Williams, Vice-President Bernadette Stasa, Secretary Mary Holmes 28 DEDICATION Ms. Ruby Pierce Mr. Joe Ferolito Did you make the check out for the bus company?? Is everything ready for the Prom??? Have the sweatshirts come in yet’?? You guys don't have it together yet — I’m leaving and I'll return once you do!! Patience, determination, inspiration, and the ability to endure when all signals say — Forget it!! These are the qualities needed to be Class Advisor. The Class of 1982 was fortunate to have two persons who displayed these virtues over the past two years. They engineered a successful class trip, NUMerous fund raisers, and fostered a spirit of cooperation and growth in the Class Leadership. They made the past two years more enjoyable and productive. They didn’t always agree with what we suggested, but always listened. They provided guidance without being dictators. They provided lead- ership without seeking complete control. In recognition and appreciation of their dedication, inspiration, and support, the Class of 1982 proudly dedicates the 1982 Yearbook to Ms. Ruby Pierce and Mr. Joe Ferolito. The gifts of time and energy were most valuable — Thanks. 1982 Yearbook Staff. 30 Class of ’82 to Follow Adelaida Alicea ... 10 Callen- Ramon Alicea Jr. der Street. lender St. Apt. 95 Force ... “Primo”. They won the first two games defeating Quincy and Weymouth. The spirit of the team was at an all-time high. In their encounter with a highly ranked Boston College High, they fought brilliantly before losing in the fourth quarter. From this point the season went downhill. They took on the Suburban League superpowers of Brocton, Newton North and Waltham losing all. Thus a most promising season ended with disappointment. ball Roster — 10—R. Mahabir, 11 —T. Those pictured on these pages, along with Brenda Hirtle, Diane Burke and Meria Mancini, contributed the lion’s share, but the efforts of SO many more allowed us to complete this task. To name them all would be impossible, but to them my deepest thanks. We have made mistakes, those of omissiom and comission, but our goal was to produce a publication that you would be proud of. We hope that as you look back over the year and look at what we have done, a smile, a pleasant thought and little joy will come over you. Over the past six years | have labored as Yearbook Advisor. During this time our yearbooks have improved greatly and the friendships made will last forever. Each of us must at some point choose a time to move on and pursue other interests. | have chosen this time to so. | hope that you will enjoy this yearbook and the pleasure you will recieve from it last forever.
