CAMBRIDGE HIGH and LATIN SCHOOL Prologue We, the Class of 1949, shall soon pass through the corridors of Cambridge High and Latin School for the last time together. Behind us we leave four momentous years — years played against a back- ground of post-war readjustment and an awakening of our responsibilities in the world of tomorrow. It is with fondest memories and deepest regrets, tinged perhaps with an apprehension of the future, that we depart from these halls. That we may leave a tangible memory of the friendly ties and pleasant activities of these years, we have set down on these pages the record of our class — a picture of its teachers and students.
