In Memory Ila I. Phelps 1915 - 1983 Many days of Ila Phelps’ life were spent in the classroom teaching math. After thirty years as a teacher and elementary principal at Cam- bridge, Ila resigned because of poor health. Teaching was Ila’s hobby as well as her vocation. The days of her life as a teacher will be remembered by many students and teachers. Ila passed away at her home in Riverton on July 16, 1983. I 4
