Wrestlers take a step towards state This year the Trojan wrestling team consisted of 14 team members. Of these 14 everyone did exceptional- ly well at districts taking fourth place. Four Trojan wrestlers were sent to state, these four were Ben Trosper, Scott Carpenter, Ken Fries, and Blaise Liess. Of these four Benny was the only one to place and he took fourth. Jeff Hageman, the only senior on the team, contributed much to the team. Because there was only one senior on the team, the Trojans will be looking forward to next year. A high point of the season was the Freshman and Sophomores who won their own tournament here at Cambridge. Hopefully their depth will help the team have a successful season next year. The Trojans also had two RVL All-Conference honor- able mention players, Vince Chitwood and David Minnick, both of whom will be returning next year. The school gym also received a new look at the end of the season when the State Bank donated two new scoreboards that were much needed.
