Students learn by doing Through vocational, home ec., and art classes, students learn by doing. The things they learn like sewing, typing, woodworking, will be valuable in their futures. Since computers are frequently being used in today’s business world, the school purchased one this year for the students to use. A stained glass window was made for the school by one of the art classes. Because of the construction being done on the school, ag and industrial arts classes were without a shop. One of their projects this year was to shingle a house the school had bought. Julie Palmer gets some sewing help on her shirt from Miss Wulf. Senior Ind. Arts member Kevin Jones gets ready to launch his rocket. Kay Joseph doesn't seem to be able to get her accounting to balance. Candy Joseph works on her typing packet. Kathy Frandsen and Kay Joseph cook up another meal in home economics. Art class members wonder what to do next. Ed Kinne and Kevin Jones watch as the rocket takes off. Mike Mousel and Rod Fiene work on their voc. ag project.

Kevin Jones seems to ba asking for a little extra help during his College English teat. Mr. Schoenfish directs the sophomores on the dissection of their frogs. Barbel Hoffman, Brenda Palmer, Suzanne Morgan, and Ange Musil try an experiment in Chemistry. Under the watchful eye of Mrs. Schoonfish, Alison Sexton practices her French. Jeff Hageman and Chris Behm examine the parts of the frog. Using their knowledge of Physics, Mark Witte and Scott Miller do a little experimenting.

Ms. Holtze and Mr. Jorgensen instruct Suzanne Morgan, Brenda Palmer, and Ange Musil on using the computer the school bought this year. Several sophomores are shown painting a wall in the new addition to the school.
