Cross Country: Tony Groshong. Alan Nelson. Ken Gross, Coach Stine. Cross country team runs many miles. The cross-country team was very small, but the lack of members didn’t stop them from trying to do their best. They participated in several meets this year and did well considering there were very few of them. They participated in Minden, Kearney, and Eustis Invitationals. They also participated in McCook and District meets. 17

Almost made it This year the Trojans almost reached their goal winning all of their season games and had the opportunity to reach the No. 1 position. They had great success for the first two playoff games. The third and final game came a little harder with a defeat. The team now knows the quality of work necessary for next year. The girls record was 3-12. Probably the most celebrated win came when Cambridge beat Oxford in the district tournament.
