Shoemaker, G, Phelps, J. Jackson, J. Estes, D, Collicott The Sophomore Class began the fall term with thirty-two members. The first semester officers elected were: President, Judi Newcomb; Vice-President, Kathy Groshong; Secretary, Susan Jackson; Treasurer, Michele Chamness; Student Council Representatives, Geanine Warnock, Gay TroBaugh. The second semester officers were: President, Frank Shoemaker; Vice-President, Steve Messersmith; Secretary, Tom Ross; Treasurer, Claudia Miller. For money-making projects the class held a cakewalk and raffle in February and a very successful Penney Arcade on April 10. Geanine Warnock, Susan Jackson, and Mary Jo Jareske were sec- ond team cheerleaders and most of the girls were in Pep Club. Eleven of the boys were active in athletics during the year.
