The Juniors held a cakewalk in December and many members participated in the Junior Class Play in December. Their big project was the Junior-Senior Prom held on May 7. .Ann Brooks and Celia Beals were first team cheerleaders. The first semester officers elected were: President, Judi Newcomb; Vice-President, Kathy Groshong; Secretary, Susan Jackson; Treasurer, Michele Chamness; Student Council Representatives, Geanine Warnock, Gay TroBaugh. The second semester officers were: President, Frank Shoemaker; Vice-President, Steve Messersmith; Secretary, Tom Ross; Treasurer, Claudia Miller. For money-making projects the class held a cakewalk and raffle in February and a very successful Penney Arcade on April 10. Geanine Warnock, Susan Jackson, and Mary Jo Jareske were sec- ond team cheerleaders and most of the girls were in Pep Club. Eleven of the boys were active in athletics during the year. For money-making projects they served concessions on January 29, and they held a bake sale on April 3. Eunice Johnson was a second-string cheerleader and nineteen girls were active in Pep Club. Amann The Cambridge High School Senior Band spent a glorious season during the 1964-65 term. They presented half-time shows during home football games and attended Band Day in Kearney in the fall. Their greater achievement was winning a trophy at the North Platte Peace Bowl Parade. The Band wishes to express its deepest appreciation to the Band Parents .Association for their outstanding work in buying new uniforms for the band. It was composed of elected repre- sentatives from the four classes and the various other clubs and or- ganizations. The Council sponsored a beautiful Christmas ball De- cember 19 entitled “Candycane Christmas.” They worked together throughout the year on projects for the betterment of CHS and to pro- mote school spirit among its students.
