Parker The first semester officers of the Sophomore Class of 1964 were Larry Ommert-President, Bob Hageman-Vice-President, with Connie Dewey as Sec- retary and Benny Paisley as Treasurer. With the help of Mr. Jasnoch, their sponsor, the sophomores put on a very successful Penny Arcade in January. The second semester, new officers were elected and those elected were Jim Teter-President, Mike Taylor-Vice-President, with Connie Dewey as Secretary and John Zable as Treasurer to finish out the school year. The two sophomore girls who were cheerleaders were Celia Beals and Ann Brooks. Most of the girls were in Pep Club and several of the boys took part in the various sports activities. 26

Jackson The Freshman class elected officers the first semester and those elected were Frank Shoemaker-President, Michele Chamness-Vice-President, Tom Ross-Secretary, and Jean Trumble-Treasurer. The new officers elected for the second semester were Judi Newcomb-Pres- ident,Stan Wier-Vice-President, Gay Trobaugh-Secretary, and Kathy Groshong- Treasurer. Two of the freshman girls, Susan Jackson and Jean Trumble, were cheerleaders this year and most of the freshman girls were in Pep Club. Many of the boys took part in the various sports activities and they have done quite well. They had several money-making projects such as the sock-hop, a carwash, a bake sale, and a cakewalk. With the help of their sponsor, Mrs. Yentes, the pro- jects turned out very successfully.
