JUNIOR CLASS The thirty-seven members of the Junior Class elected the following first semester officers; President, Gerald Cotton; Vice-President, Martha Brown; Secretary, Peggy Thimble; Treasurer, Cheryl Newcomb. Student Council Members, Carol Potter and Steve Hayen. Second semester officers were; President, Vivian Robinson; Vice-President, Steve Hayen; Secretary, Carolyn Williams; Treasurer, Martha Brown. All the girls were in Pep Club. Cheryl Newcomb, Barbara Rupe, and Peggy Trumble were elected first team cheerleaders. Eight boys went out for football, six for basketball, and eight for track. During this year the Juniors took part in the class play, sponsored a Hernando's Hideaway beatnik party, received their class rings, and put on the Jr.-Sr. Banquet and Prom for the Seniors.
