Student Council BOTTOM ROW: Mr. Yentes, E. Heilman, D. Proud, B. O'Brien, R. Bassford, T. Buzzell, G. Kasson, Mr. Whitesel. TOP ROW: L. Sayer, S. Kester, C. Piscevich, C. Bible, C. Newcomb. The 1960-61 Cambridge Student Council has been fairly active. It sponsored a dance after a home- football game in November. It was responsible for installing a pop machine which it operates and re- ceives profits from. In December the Student Council formal dance was held in the gym. This was a new activity and was very successful. The Student Council also made various other decisions and set up several rules to be followed, and in all, it has been a successful year. 22

Pep Club The forty-six members of the Pep Club elected as their officers the following: President, Mary Kay Joseph; Secretary, Judy Shoff; Vice-President and Treasurer, Luella Sayer. Vice-President and Treasurer was later given to Connie Bible and then finally to Kathy Finke. The cheerleaders were: First String, Susan Walburn, Janet Heilman, Sandy Newcomb, Joan Trumble; Second String, Judy Johnson, Peggy Trumble, Cheryl Newcomb, Barbara Rupe. The girls held their banquet on March 3rd, with Trojan Top-Hatters as their theme. In the fall, the Pep Club sold vanilla to earn a percolator for the Pep Club. The girls also sold programs in order that a score board might be purchased. 24
