Senior Prophecy Los Angeles, Calif. May 6, 1967 Dear Rolland After I heard about Shirley and you getting married and your success in the Gas Co., I'm inclined to believe that your father-in-law gave you some assistance. Have you heard that Patty and Bob have made a match and he is a successful engineer. I ran into Arnold Johnson the other day and found he is head of Einstein laboratories and is disproving Einstein’s theory. I read one of Carol Kubik's articles in the Los Angeles Times. As you know she is the head news reporter. 1 hear that Marcia is head nurse in Druse’s Cure-All Clinic and is also the head of the Druse household. I have taken up dancing in the Arthur Murray studios. Guess who my instructor is? Donna Phillips. I received a letter from Barbara Sams and she is living on a horse ranch in Illinois. 1 suppose you know that Jerry Sayer is running for President on the Democratic ticket. I read in the paper where Stan Sexton broke the world’s record in Motorcycle racing. Roberta Wright is private secretary to Tab Hunter and is quite busy handling his fan mail. This all for now as it is time for George’s T.V. show. Write and tell me about the rest of the class. 'Bye for now Janet May 10, 1967 Cambridge, Nebr. Dear Janet 1 was certainly glad to receive your letter and learn what some of the kids from good old CHS are doing. Marilyn and Ed got married. Marilyn is making a fine home for Ed, who seems to be doing quite well as a veterinarian. Sharon is content as a preacher’s wife raising a lit- tle Moore. Larry Burke is doing quite well for himself. He now has a 3,000 acre farm at Orafino. Stan Druse was visiting me last weekend. He has been touring the world and has just graduated from Oxford University at England. He intends to go on to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He intends to go on to the Massachusetts In- stitute of Technology. I read in a sports magazine that John Minnick just made All- Pro for the Los Angeles Rams. I saw James Ridpath yesterday. He is now head salesman in used cars at Beardmore's. Evelyn and Ronnie are married now and, with the super- intendent’s influence, is now principal at good old CHS. Did you know that the Ford Company was destroyed by the head chemical engineer? Yes, it seems as if Mike Simon made some slight mistake. Norris Smith seems to have lost his talent. He is now president of the Lonely Hearts Club. I hope 1 hear from you again. See you at the Class Reunion in June. Rolland
