The Cambridge Chapter of Future Farmers of Americas was active in district and state judging contests and also had two delegates attend the state conventions. The boys went on many field trips during the year. They had a parents night in December and served barbecued pheasant which they shot on their annual pheasant hunt. They also had a parent and son banquet in the spring. The officers for the year of 55-56 were: President, K. Harsch; Vice- President, L. Kubik; Secretary, J. Allen; Treasurer, G. Carter; Re- porter, N. Smith; Sentinel, M. Colson; Advisor, Mr. Parker. 19

Brittain, M. Musii, K. Taylor, C. Berres, K. Sams. The girls' physical education class, which met two times a week, was composed of thirty-two girls. The girls were given an op- portunity to participate in a variety of sports such as badminton, volleyball, dodge ball, soccer, and basketball. During the month of December of volley ball tournament was held with four teams com- peting. The girls chose the following names for their teams: The Active 8, The Globe Trotters, Trojanettes, and Lucky Volleyettes. This class promoted good sportsmanship and developed interest and ability in numerous recreational activities. 21
